Kylian Mbappé, the Most Expensive Teenager in Football

If you are into football, you’ve probably heard of the teen whose value at the moment has reached €92.6 million. In just one year, Mbappé managed to take the world by storm and attract the attention of Real Madrid and Arsenal with his consistently electric performances. According to Bonus Referrer Code, Mbappé is surely leaving AS Monaco for a bigger club in 2017.

His full name is Kylian Sanmi Mbappé Lottin and was born in Bondy, France. His football days began in the local club, AS Bondy, where his father coached him. Even from his early days he began attracting the interest from clubs like Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Valencia who all scouted him in the Clairefontaine academy. He even went to Chelsea when 11-years old on a trial. But, despite all that interest, Mbappé decided to settle in France until of legal age, so he was signed by AS Monaco in 2013.

Mbappé made the AS Monaco first team at the age of 16 and beat Theirry Henry’s record for being the youngest first-team player in the club. He spent his first two years in Monaco’s youth team and scored his first goal for the first team in 2016 in stoppage time against Troyes and became the youngest goal scorer in AS Monaco. Just 17, and he already broke two records which was enough for the club to offer him a three-year deal.

Several months later, Mbappé scored his first hat-trick when AS Monaco destroyed 7-0 Stade Rennais F.C. in the French cup. This was the first hat-trick scored in the club in 20 years, and then suddenly all eyes went on Mbappé and people started realizing that the kid is going places. In the beginning of 2017, the teenager scored yet another hat-trick, which was yet another milestone. He was the first 17-year-old that scored a hat-trick in Ligue 1 in the last 12 years.

The same month he scored his first UEFA Champions League goal against Manchester City, which was enough for a new record. He became the second youngest French player to score in this competition with the youngest being Karim Benzema.

His amazing “being first” series continued by scoring his 10th Ligue 1 goal against Nantes. He scored his 9th and 10th goal in the first half and became the youngest player in Ligue 1 in the last 30 years to reach his 10 goals-mark in the competition.

His amazing 2016-2017 season for AS Monaco was characterized with unbelievable efficiency. Arsène Wenger and many highly rated pundits described his playing style to that of Thierry Henry, which makes Mbappé probably the most interesting football prospect in the next 5 years to come.

He is barely into his legal age of 18, and his value is slowly skyrocketing to over €100 million. AS Monaco will surely try to do everything to keep him until his price gets even bigger, but there is no stopping Mbappé to spread his wings to get to some of the bigger clubs in Europe.
